Wade is feeling much better as the cheers, applause and huzzahs permeate the show. Mike confesses that buying cds is like eating potato chips you cannot stop at one. Mike also rants about selling out, Sharon Osbourne, and Vagina. The boys also cast their gaze into the future to see what music from the last 10 years will still be relevant 20 years from now. A lot of new music is played and Steeven is properly welcomed to the community as Mike and Wade try and figure out proper pronunciation of Steeven's name. We also play one of his favorite bands with a song from one of Mike's favorite movies (it really is all about Mike). Oh and a lot of music is played.

Great show Gentlemen...as usual!...already heard the Nickelback song a Million times on the radio but it was good. Wade, the Matt Skiba song was awesome, I guess I'll have to check out some Alkaline trio sometime as I've never heard them before. Me First and the Gimme Gimmes are a kick ass band!! I found them 2 or 3 years ago and loved em to the point of getting all their CD's or at least I thought, I still need the "Have another ball" CD to complete the catalog. Loved the Riverdales song (and although you didn't play them, The Screeching Weasels and the Methadones are f'ing kick ass too! Definatly would love to hear them on future casts).Liked the Semi Precious Weapons song Michael,I've heard them before too but not that song. Orianthi was good as usual and man she is smoking hot Twisted Evil !! Poets and Pornstars was wicked awesome! You guys make my Mondays less mundane and I thank you for that! If I could pay you guys to do the Rock Dungeon believe me I would! (but I can't so I won't)

Keep up the excellent work and the killer tunes, much appreciated!!!!!!!!!....\m/....

and on a side note, I'm still working on my alcohol song, I think I know what I'm gonna send in but I'm still looking just in case I find something else I like better.Either way I don't think it will be duplicated.

Orianthi is smoking hot and Poets and Pornstars are awesome. I am glad we make your Mondays less Mundane and we would not take your money... in the podcast world these words you leave are more than enough. You have 2 weeks till we need the drinking song... just saying. Thanks for posting as always you are awesome

Here's my attempt at getting back in the Rock Dungeon habit. Of course I've been listening all along but have been away from the forums way to long. First of all let me say that Semi Precious Weapons tune was absolutely awesome, in fact if any of their other stuff sounds like that they will be my new favorite band. I'll find out soon enough as the CD's are on the way. I've always thought Me First and the Gimme Gimmes were a pretty mediocre punk band, but the songs they choose to cover really put them over the top for me. If they were playing there own tunes I probably wouldn't have given them a second listen. As they are though, they're great. Wade, with the Riverdales you are getting more into my punk wheel house, really didn't like the Groovie Ghoulies and The Undead(?) cause they were just a little too vanilla, I need a little more attitude in my punk, thought the Undead were way more 50's rockabilly than the Riverdales. Maybe they should think about changing band names. I'm really liking your spotlight topics, the possibilities are endless and some great topics have already been covered. Would have thrown my own picks in their for bands that will still be around in 30 years but that 10 year limit on the initial cd put a kibosh on that. Great show as usual.

Carlos always a pleasure whenever we hear from you... on the boards or through the call in line... it is always a treat. We know you would never say we sold out and even if we did you would still be there because you were there at the beginning... so you could tell everybody you thought we were awesome before everybody found out how awesome we are. You were there when Heath caught his pants in the limo door and he was going commando... you were at the ambulance as I was being taken out of the sleaze bag motel with the heroine needle in my arm and my skin was blue... you were there when wade over did the acid and insisted on painting all of the strippers with florescent spray paint because it made his eyes feel better... yeah buddy you were there... you are the man

Wade, you're killing me with the facts on this one.

    It's Screeching Weasel, not Weasels.

    It's Vapid, not Vipid.

Dan started in Screeching Weasel (using the pseudonym "Sewercap" at first). After SW broke up the first time, Dan started Sludgeworth.

Sorry for the pettiness, but Screeching Weasel were a big part of my teen\young adult years. I used to go see their shows all the time.

I haven't heard any of the new Riverdales stuff. That song you played was good.
