Do you want some bacon to go with that cheese. Yes this is the much ballyhooed and requested Guilty Pleasure episode of Rock Dungeon. Revel in the silky smooth velveeta that is brought by Wade. Roll around in pleasure with the brie like cheesy consistency of Michael's picks. Find out how certain people play drums while listening to Phil Collins naked. Shiver in the ecstasy that is brought by Harpsichord stylings of the multi octave Amos. Prince before he was a symbol to everything crappy. Sherriffs, Rollers and Akon oh my. Pinks and Blues and the Archies too. Wade and Michael are so guilty it's painful. Tell your friends... on second thought don't.

Great show guys. I told Mike that I have a better understanding of what you both like that isn't metal. We all have those songs that we dig but won't admit, well most people do. I like all kinds of stuff and life is too short to pretend that I don't. I have a daughter so I TRY to find the value in all that she likes including Miley and what's her face from Wizards of Waverly Place.

    Hmm spice girls and trivia............

Awesome show guys, and not to worry I doubt your man cards are in jeopardy of being revoked! Michael, how could you feel guilty listening to the "King of Rock-n-Roll? I have to admit though, your other picks created a whole new flavor of (Blue (Da Bi Dee))cheese! Wade, something tells me you didn't try hard enough although I think the Sheriff song was probably pretty close! I totally agree about the Tori Amos....wow, that was rough affraid My song was from "The Hits/The B-Sides". Loved "Rest in Peace" & "You Shouldn't Have Pissed Me Off" great choices Aaron. I have to agree 100% with wade about the Crimson Pig selection "Jaan Pehechaan Ho"!! That song was awesome!!

Keep up the great work, looking forward to next weeks episode. \m/

I agree Wade could have tried harder... but as he said he wanted to make the show at least partially listenable. I got picked on a lot about my affection for Elvis in school, so much so that I stopped wearing his shirts and stuff... I know stupid... but I was 12 and pretty impressionable, now the whole world knows Smile

When I heard Chris' song I kept waiting for Ricki Ricardo to pipe in going Lucy.. you got some 'splaining to do Razz.
Not a fan of that type or era of music... and he had a name I could not pronounce without umlauts and accent marks.

I am thinking of making this an annual event around April Fool's day. I had fun and for the most part everyone else did also (except Wade) It is our most downloaded episode ... I am not sure what that means Embarassed

I finally got around to listening to this today and I loved it! It was quite enjoyable listening to all the stuff you guys listen to on the side. Now Wade, you canNOT follow up a criticism like that of the great Tori Amos by playing Terence Trent d'Arby! You just can't! Razz If you had followed it up with Paul Simon that would have been acceptable. And Mike, really, you don't like Paul Simon? I mean, that's okay and all but what a surprise. And Wade picked the perfect song, too. I love that one. I finally got to see Howard Jones live about 5 or 6 yrs ago and he was still great. And I love Pink but I don't think we have any whole CDs downloaded from her. Just a song or two, I think. Anyway, this was a really fun episode and really showed the meaning of one man's treasure is another man's trash. Awesome diversity!

You haven't heard that Jaan Pehechaan Ho song before? Huh. It's a good one. And did you say Hawaiian? Come on, that song screams Bollywood!

Yeah, Ghostworld was the movie based on the Graphic Novel. Come on Mike!

I've heard that Sheriff song many times before, but never knew who they were. Huh. Now I do.

Mike, you listen to Pink? ...credibility... ...waning...

Here's what this episode taught me: people like a lot of crap.

...no, let me rephrase: everyone listens to crap that means something to them and no one else. And sometimes people think that's a good premise for a podcast affraid

This was definitely the show I've looked most forward to but I am surprised it is your most downloaded episode, perhaps with the guilty pleasures tag people were expecting the debut of your porn cast. I know this will plant me even more firmly in the cabbage patch but I've got to say I did enjoy the majority of the crap in this one. Don't own much of it but enjoyed the listen. I think most of my other guilty pleasures have now been covered though: 70's Cheese, Strong Female Singers, Parody/Comedy, and Catchy Rap were all in there.

Wade, don't know how serious you were about liking my selection but your reaction was hilarious none the less. The main reason I got hooked on that crap though is for the videos, rather than the music by itself. I do love this tune on it's own but with video accompaniment I think it is ten times better, due to the high cheese content. I am surprised that Mike was not familiar with the movie Ghost World though, being that it is a comic book adaptation. Not mainstream but definitely well known.

This really was a fun show, which I know was the intent, so I think it worked out well. For me anyway. Was excited to hear I won the Calabrese CD also, can't wait to get my hands on that one. Thanks for good time.

Yeah it was a fun episode... as far as Paul Simon i enjoyed him much more with Garfunkle...wrote some timeless songs that mean something... solo... not so much to self indulgent... i do not feel he lets me play... Him and Julio down in the schoolyard, Kodachrome, you can call me Al... really... Until you actually see Wade do all of the moves from that video on a staircase well you really cannot judge him Razz I am glad you got it and had fun with it...thats what it was for... thanks Barb

I am glad you were entertained and enjoyed the show. The response has been pretty positive. It was made for fun and will probably end up being our April fool's episode every year. I am glad you are back Chris. Sorry your guilty pleasure did not ring my chimes... i think you are more of a Wade... which is not a bad thing
